Although a lot good and bad has happened around the world in 2016, this year marked the first year for TOTAL EM. This project has been beneficial for many and continues to get very positive feedback. The message continues though and this podcast talks about the past year along with the future of this podcast.
The picture above is a "shiny" version of our logo and suggested by the original designer. If you like this better than the traditional logo please email or comment below. Most likely there will be a Twitter poll in the future to see what people think of the design.

2016 has been a busy year with 22 other podcasts having been published. There have been two features on The SGEM regarding TOTAL EM. More features from other podcasts are on their way and will be updated as published. Let us not forget about the dual released podcast that was paired with Kris Maday covering airway management on the PAINE Podcast and here on TOTAL EM.

For 2017 there will be other steps forward. National speaking engagements are being planned and there is also the plan to help cover conferences that will be coming up. If you are wanting TOTAL EM to come lecture or cover a conference, email at thetotalem@gmail.com to help schedule.

There have been many types of podcasts with everything from literature reviews, special guests on unique topics, friends from other fields such as EMS, educational talking points for both the public and providers, and other new segments such as "Tales from the Holler" and "Rural Rants" which made up our last two podcasts. All of these podcasts need your feedback to know what you want to listen to most. This podcast was designed primarily for emergency professionals, especially PAs with an emphasis on those practicing in the rural environment.

Your continued support is key to the survival of TOTAL EM. Every new person who knows about TOTAL EM allows for it to continue to grow. There are far too many people to thank but family and friends are at the top of the list. Thank you all for your support and please help continue to spread the podcast. Please give us your feedback. What topics do you want to hear about in the future?  Tell us by looking us up on Libsyn, share on Facebook, retweet on Twitter, and rate on iTunes to help spread the word on TOTAL EM.  If you have any questions you can comment below, email at thetotalem@gmail.com, or send a message from the page.  We hope to talk to everyone again soon.  Until then, continue to provide total care everywhere.
